Thank you for applying as a contestant in the first campground cookoff hosted by the Old 96 District Tourism Commission. Teams will prepare food for taste judges and be eligible for awards and prizes. Please complete this application form in its entirety and sign at the bottom acknowledging you have read the attached rules and regulations.
To register for the event:
1. Call Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area at 864-447-8267 to reserve your campsite. Cost is $50 for 2 nights. Minimum 2 night stay required to be entered in the contest.
2. You will receive a campsite number when registering with Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area. Number must be written on the form below.
3. Registration fees for the contest: First Recipe-$25. Additional entries, $20 per recipe. Only one entry per category per contestant team. Limit of 3 total recipes per contestant team.
4. Additional recipes must be submitted on separate entry form.
5. Submit your application with fee(s) and recipe(s) to the address below and mail to the address below.

I have read the rules and regulations for the South Carolina Old 96 District Campground Cookoff including providing permission for use of photography, recipes or interviews of all team members for future marketing and promotion, and agree to abide by them. I also understand and accept that all judges’ decisions are final. Entry fee is non-refundable. Event campsite cancellation must be received by September 2 , 2008. Any refund for campsite will be handled by guidelines set forth by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
